On December 17, the Airbus A320 series aircraft final assembly line in Asia—situated in Tianjin—officially handed over its 800th aircraft assembled in China. This A321neo aircraft, which will be operated by Air China, is configured with 12 business-class seats and 186 economy-class seats. Since its launch in 2008, the Airbus final assembly line in Tianjin has emerged as Airbus's inaugural civil aircraft production line established outside of Europe. In October of this year, Airbus unveiled its second A320 series aircraft final assembly line in Tianjin, thereby establishing a layout that encompasses two single-aisle aircraft final assembly lines and a twin-aisle aircraft delivery center. This strategic move further fortifies Airbus's global production network for the A320 series aircraft, which already boasts 10 final assembly lines.
