The development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Hydrogen Corridor is set to create a replicable and scalable demonstration model for the hydrogen energy industry. Chongqing has unveiled a strategic plan advocating for the moderately accelerated rollout of hydrogen refueling stations and complementary infrastructure. Over the past 18 months, Sichuan's hydrogen energy industry chain has witnessed notable achievements, marked by progress in large-scale industrial deployments, manufacturing and storage systems, as well as the cultivation of a robust industrial ecosystem. Expansion and enhancement of transportation applications, energy pilot initiatives, and specialized scenarios are ongoing. The meeting held in April 2024 disclosed that Sichuan is poised to offer unparalleled and maximum support to the hydrogen energy sector. Looking ahead, Sichuan will capitalize on its resource strengths, adopt an application-centric strategy, bolster support mechanisms, address industry challenges head-on, and foster the high-caliber development of the entire green hydrogen industry chain.
