On December 10, Hu Zhenjiang, the Deputy Director-General of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), held a meeting with Russell Stokes, who serves as both the President and CEO of GE Aerospace’s Civil Engines and Services Division, in Shanghai. During the meeting, both parties spoke highly of GE Aerospace's developmental trajectory in China and expressed their approval of the 45-year collaborative partnership between GE Aerospace and China's civil aviation sector.

They reached a consensus on several key fronts: enhancing engine safety operations within China, safeguarding the stability of the aviation material supply chain, bolstering the growth of China’s civil aircraft industry, and instituting a regular communication framework.
