On December 1st, NARI Group Corporation successfully developed and commissioned China's first domestically produced Butow grounded pumped storage unit protection device. This milestone was achieved as part of the protection system upgrade project for Unit 1's generator-transformer set at the State Grid Xinyuan Beijing Ming Tombs Pumped Storage Power Station. This achievement marks a significant break from China's historical reliance on imported protection equipment for such pumped storage units, enhances the operational reliability of the units, and provides valuable experience for the independent development of protection technologies in China's pumped storage power sector.
