A research report released by CITIC Construction Investment highlights a significant uptick in enthusiasm for energy storage investment. Looking ahead to next year, planned investment projects in both eastern and western Inner Mongolia are projected to double compared to the current year, with capacity compensation policies expected to remain in place. Given the robust growth in electricity demand (load) and the continuous expansion of new energy sources, the demand for energy storage is set to keep climbing. Presently, the supply in battery sectors and related areas is tight, with prices of lithium-ion battery materials poised for further increases. Components such as cathode and anode materials, electrolytes, separators, copper and aluminum foils, 6F, and VC, along with the battery and integration sectors, are all receiving positive market outlooks. Moreover, the integration of AI Data Centers (AIDC) into energy storage systems will provide a reliable foundation for growth in overseas markets.
