Guangdong Construction Engineering has disclosed that a joint venture, comprising its wholly-owned subsidiary Guangdong Yuantian Engineering Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Zhensen Electric Power Design and Research Co., Ltd., has inked the "Design and Construction General Contracting (EPC) Contract for the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone Lanjun Energy Storage Power Station Project" with Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone Lanjun Energy Storage Co., Ltd. The overall contract value stands at a substantial 1.888 billion yuan, with Guangdong Yuantian shouldering engineering responsibilities valued at 1.876 billion yuan. Situated within the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone, this initiative aims to establish a 300MW/1200MWh electrochemical energy storage power station, incorporating pivotal elements like the energy storage system. The contract stipulates a construction timeline of 120 days.
