On the 20th, Blue Origin, a prominent U.S.-based aerospace company, made an announcement regarding its ambitious project to construct a new heavy-lift launch vehicle. This upcoming rocket is set to outdo the current New Glenn rocket in terms of both size and performance. Based on the company's official statement, the development roadmap for the New Glenn rocket is entering its next stage, marked by the introduction of this super-heavy rocket, aptly named the 'New Glenn 9x4.' The numerical designation '9x4' is quite telling; it signifies that the rocket's first and second stages will be outfitted with 9 and 4 engines, respectively. This represents a significant upgrade, as each stage will have 2 more engines compared to the existing 'New Glenn 7x2' rocket.
