On November 19, Foster disclosed on an interactive platform that it holds the position of the world's largest supplier of light conversion films. These specialized films are capable of transforming ultraviolet light into visible light. When deployed on the front surface of solar cells, they significantly boost the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic modules. This makes them an ideal choice for a variety of module types, including HJT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin Layer), BC (Back Contact), perovskite, and perovskite tandem modules.
At present, light conversion films are extensively utilized in HJT modules. For perovskite modules, the integration of this technology is still in its nascent developmental stages. Meanwhile, in the realm of perovskite tandem modules, the application of light conversion films is undergoing trial phases.
