On November 13, the special session of the 2025 World Power Battery Conference, titled the "Global Power Battery Visionary Technology and Innovation Forum," took place in Yibin, Sichuan Province. During her address at the forum, Wang Fang, the Chief Scientist at CATARC, emphasized the urgent need to define the fundamental aspects of solid-state batteries, including their terminology, classification, and coding systems. "We are in the process of formulating corresponding national standards. When it comes to terminology and classification, batteries can be broadly categorized into three main types: solid-state, solid-liquid hybrid, and liquid-state batteries," she stated.
