On November 12, the 2025 World Dynamic Battery Conference kicked off in Yibin, Sichuan Province. At the conference, Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), shared that CATL remains committed to in-depth research in material and structural innovation. The company's fourth-generation lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are currently in mass production, comprehensively outperform the industry's mainstream second- and third-generation products, boasting higher specific energy, longer lifespan, and greater power. Moreover, mass production of the fifth-generation products has already commenced, marking new strides in energy density and cycle life.

Zeng also emphasized that, in light of the global mission and competitive landscape surrounding the new energy transition, the industry must uphold a commitment to high-quality development. CATL is actively seeking new avenues for growth across four key dimensions: technological advancements, scenario diversification, business model innovation, and the establishment of zero-carbon ecosystems.
