On the afternoon of November 8, the forum titled 'Joint Efforts for Co-governance, Empowering Development: Original IP Protection and Ecosystem Construction' was held as part of the Shanghai conference activities at the 2025 China International Import Expo. The forum was hosted by Shanghai MiHoYo Network Technology Co., Ltd. During the forum, the Shanghai Online Game Industry Association, the Shanghai Internet Industry Association, the Xuhui District Game Industry Service Center, as well as leading domestic game companies and internet platforms such as MiHoYo, Shanda Games, Paper Games, Lilith Games, Yostar, Pok City, Giant Network, Bilibili, and Alipay, jointly initiated the establishment of the 'Shanghai Online Game Industry Intellectual Property Protection Consultation Mechanism.' This is the first collaborative protection mechanism for intellectual property rights in the online game sector nationwide, and it will propel the intellectual property protection efforts in the game industry in Shanghai and across the country into a new stage in the future.
