The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Industry and Information Technology, and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province have jointly rolled out the Action Plan for the Collaborative Promotion of the Development of the Beidou Time and Space Industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (2025 - 2027). According to the plan, by 2027, over 800,000 new sets of Beidou independent positioning terminal products will be actively promoted for use. The cumulative number of Beidou applications across the three regions is projected to hit 5 million sets. Moreover, the plan aims to draw in and nurture 10 leading enterprises, foster 50 "specialized, sophisticated, and innovative" enterprises, and ultimately construct a Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Beidou time and space industry cluster, with its industrial scale soaring past RMB 200 billion.
