Trina Solar made a public announcement stating that its wholly-controlled subsidiary, Trina Storage, has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with Pacific Green. The two entities are set to join forces in supplying 5GWh of grid-scale battery energy storage systems between 2026 and 2028. As outlined in the memorandum, Trina Storage and Pacific Green will forge a strategic partnership with a cumulative cooperation capacity of 5GWh. Trina Storage is tasked with providing cutting-edge grid-scale battery systems that incorporate industry-leading technologies, thereby offering substantial benefits in terms of safety, efficiency, and longevity. Meanwhile, Pacific Green will take charge of developing project sites and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in Australia as well as other international markets. Upon completion, these projects will possess the capability to store and supply up to 5 billion watt-hours of electricity to the power grid.
