DeepRobotics Technology Co., Ltd. has undergone a transformation, now being rebranded as Hangzhou DeepRobotics Technology Co., Ltd. This change encompasses modifications in its enterprise classification and the reshuffling of several key senior management roles. A representative from the company explained that this shareholding reform is a strategic move designed to set a solid foundation for the company's long-term growth trajectory.
Since its inception in 2017, DeepRobotics has been at the forefront of research and development in the fields of humanoid and quadruped robots, along with their essential components. As of now, DeepRobotics has successfully navigated through five rounds of financing, with the latest infusion of capital amounting to 500 million yuan, secured in July of the current year. In a bid to further its technological edge, the company unveiled the inaugural version of its embodied navigation system in September, followed by the launch of a cutting-edge, industry-grade humanoid robot, the DR02, in October. This new robot is engineered to excel in a variety of outdoor environments.
