Microsoft has made an announcement that Windows 11 is poised to introduce a brand - new feature called 'Active Memory Diagnostic'. This feature is designed to assist users in swiftly identifying system failures stemming from memory - related problems, thereby bolstering the system's stability and reliability.
In the event of an unexpected device reboot, when users log back in, they might be presented with a prompt suggesting a quick memory scan. Once this feature is activated, the system will automatically carry out diagnostic checks during the subsequent restart. The entire diagnostic process usually takes no longer than five minutes.
Anomalies related to memory are relatively prevalent and often challenging to pinpoint accurately. However, this newly introduced feature is capable of conducting a comprehensive inspection of the memory, offering valuable guidance for troubleshooting.
At present, this feature can be found in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.6982 (Dev Channel) version. Nevertheless, it is not yet compatible with devices running on the Arm64 architecture.
