At a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, centered around the theme of "Achieving High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan," Huang Runqiu, the Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, highlighted that during the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, China has achieved remarkable strides in promoting green and low-carbon development. The nation has successfully established and is now steadily operating the world's largest carbon emissions trading market. This market encompasses more than 60% of the country's total carbon emissions. Additionally, the voluntary greenhouse gas emissions reduction trading market has been officially rolled out, serving as a further catalyst to spur the internal drive and innovative energy for sustainable green development.
