At a press conference organized by the Information Office of the State Council, Yin Hejun, the Minister of Science and Technology, disclosed that in 2024, a total of 524 enterprises from the Chinese mainland secured spots on the list of the top 2,000 global industrial R&D investors, making up 26.2% of the entire list. Moreover, the number of high-tech enterprises in China has surged past the 500,000 mark, marking an impressive 83% increase compared to the figure in 2020.
