At the World Satellite Business Week event held in Paris, Richie Freeman, who serves as the President of Government Solutions for Amazon's Project Kuiper satellite venture, disclosed that the initiative aims to deliver satellite internet services to five key countries—the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom—by the close of the first quarter in 2026. Amazon has set its sights on launching more than 200 satellites into low-Earth orbit before the end of 2024. Earlier, Amazon had merely hinted at a service rollout by the end of 2025, without delving into specifics regarding the target markets or the precise timeline for achieving comprehensive coverage.
