On September 8 (local time), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States issued a statement declaring the revocation of the testing and certification licenses for electronic products entering the U.S. market, which were previously held by several Chinese laboratories. The affected laboratories include the Chongqing Information and Communications Research Institute, CQC Vehicle Networking Technology Service Co., Ltd., CVC Testing Technology Co., Ltd. along with its Shanghai Branch, TÜV Rheinland-Commodity Inspection (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., UL Verification Services Inc., Guangzhou CEPREI Optoelectronic Standards Testing & Research Institute Co., Ltd., the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, and China Inspection Group Southern Testing Co., Ltd. This action is a clear manifestation of technological hegemony. Prior to this, the U.S. has repeatedly misused the concept of national security, causing disruptions to the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
