Serene Medical, a pioneering ophthalmic medical device company, has recently concluded a financing round that surpassed 100 million yuan. This round was co-led by Qianji Capital and Shunwei Capital, with existing investors Boxing Capital and HLH Capital further increasing their stakes. The proceeds from this financing will be allocated primarily towards advancing the comprehensive research and development of Serene Medical's inaugural, self-developed product line—a phacoemulsification and vitrectomy integrated machine. Established in July 2022, Serene Medical aims to dismantle the monopoly held by foreign enterprises in the realm of high-end ophthalmic surgical instruments.
