China's flagship "Thermal Power Molten Salt Storage" project has officially commenced operations at the Suzhou Power Plant in Anhui Province, marking a significant breakthrough in harmonizing heating and power generation in thermal power facilities. When operating at full capacity, this project can sustainably provide heat for an impressive four hours. During peak shaving periods at 30% of the rated load, it extends this duration to five hours, with a remarkable increase in heating capacity to 410 tons per hour, a substantial enhancement of 260 tons per hour over previous levels.
