Data from the National Bureau of Statistics reveals that in the first half of 2025, China's production of 3D printing equipment surged by 43.1% year-on-year. This remarkable growth has spurred the democratization of 3D printers, shifting their presence from laboratories and factories into everyday households. As a result, consumers can now effortlessly print their own model toys at home. In comparison to prices three years ago, consumer-grade 3D printers have undergone a 60% price reduction, with mainstream brands concentrating on products within the affordable range of 2000-3000 yuan. Furthermore, many of these printers come preloaded with a vast array of built-in models, enabling users to print directly without the need for complex modeling post-purchase.
