Beginning in September, Guangzhou will introduce special license plates for electric bicycles utilized in the takeout delivery, express delivery, and other essential service industries. These plates are categorized into four distinct types: "Guangzhou W," "Guangzhou X," "Guangzhou Y," and "Guangzhou Z," each tailored to serve instant delivery services, emergency repairs of public facilities, postal and express delivery, as well as bottled gas, medical, and health-related units, respectively. This initiative aims to facilitate categorized management and elevate the overall governance standards of electric bicycles in the city.
