According to the latest financial report from Polish game developer CD Projekt, the company reported revenues of $121 million in the first half of this year, accompanied by a healthy profit margin of 35%. This impressive performance is largely driven by the sustained robust sales of "Cyberpunk 2077", with physical sales on the Switch 2 platform contributing a significant 75% of total sales. Furthermore, "The Witcher 4", internally codenamed Polaris, has officially commenced its development phase, with the development team swelling to 799 individuals, of which 444 are solely dedicated to this ambitious project. Meanwhile, the sequel to "Cyberpunk 2077", codenamed Orion, remains in the pre-production stage but has welcomed 20 new developers this quarter. It is worth mentioning that the GOG platform is currently not generating profits. Concurrently, CD Projekt is collaborating with Japanese animation studio Trigger to prepare for the release of "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2".
