On August 28, Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS), a pioneering American fusion energy startup, revealed an $863 million funding round spearheaded by investors such as NVIDIA, Khosla Ventures, and Alphabet, the parent company of Google. A CFS statement disclosed that NVIDIA's venture capital division, NVentures, was among the participants in this funding round.
