Slovakia and Hungary have recommenced receiving Russian oil through the "Friendship" pipeline. Slovakia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Veronika Sacova, expressed that supplies have returned to normalcy and expressed her hope for sustained operational stability. Prior to this, the pipeline had sustained damage during an attack perpetrated by Ukraine. Hungary's Foreign Minister, Péter Szijjártó, noted that following repairs, a test mode was initiated on the 28th to resume oil deliveries to Hungary, albeit at a volume lower than usual.
