According to the quarterly report issued by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong, the city's IPO market has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the first seven months of this year, firmly reinforcing its position as a global leader. During this period, a total of 51 companies went public, with the total funds raised surging by over 610% year-on-year to reach HK$128 billion. As of the end of July, there were more than 220 IPO applications under review. To further facilitate the listing of specialized technology and biotechnology firms, the SFC and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange jointly introduced the 'Tech Company Fast Track' program in May, which allows for the confidential submission of listing applications.
