Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX), has recently clinched a contract worth $2.8 billion for the production of F135 engines. These engines will propel Lockheed Martin's F-35 fighter jets, serving both domestic and international clientele. To date, Pratt & Whitney has delivered over 1,300 F135 engines to the United States and its allies. This new contract will bolster the global deployment and operational capabilities of the F-35 fighter aircraft.
