On August 24, Xiaohongshu announced the initiation of the "Million Commission-Free Initiative". Effective September 1st of this year and spanning the next 12 months, the platform will exempt e-commerce merchants from commission fees on the first 1 million yuan of their payment transactions, retaining solely a 0.6% payment processing fee. This initiative requires no application process and automatically extends to all merchants, with the aim of minimizing operational costs and enticing new merchants to join the platform.
