A recent fire incident occurred in a rental property located in the Chengxiang District of Putian, Fujian Province. The tenant, Ms. Deng, experienced this tragedy merely one day after settling into her new home. According to a press release from the Putian Fire Department, the blaze was attributed to the overheating of a power bank that had been left charging for an extended period. This led to substantial damage to Ms. Deng's bedroom. Property management staff swiftly arrived at the scene armed with fire extinguishers to contain the fire, and the fire department also responded promptly. On inspection, it was found that the bed, indoor air conditioner, and other belongings were completely destroyed by the flames, while the walls and door were heavily sooted from the smoke.
