On August 23, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk emphasized that developing a fully reusable orbital rocket stands as one of humanity's most formidable engineering challenges, surpassing even the feat of landing on the moon. This explains why the problem has eluded a solution until now. Despite this, Musk expressed cautious optimism about the Starship achieving full reusability within the next year. Another pivotal technology he highlighted is orbital refueling, which he considers relatively straightforward and anticipates will be achieved in the coming year. Should these endeavors prove successful, human consciousness and life may extend to other planets and even stars.
