On August 14, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice imposing a definitive positive anti-dumping duty on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) suspension resin originating from China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States. This ruling extends the anti-dumping duties on the aforementioned countries and regions for a period of five years, with duty rates varying by region. Specifically, for China, the duty rates range from USD 122 to USD 232 per ton. The affected products are PVC suspension resin with a K value between 55 and 77, classified under the Indian Customs Code 3904.

The investigation leading to this ruling was initiated upon the petition filed by three domestic Indian enterprises and had initially ruled in favor of anti-dumping measures on October 30, 2024.
