On August 18, GalaxySpace unveiled that the medium-lift liquid launch vehicle, Pallas I, is poised for its inaugural flight. Simultaneously, the company is intensifying efforts in the research and development of Pallas II, a new generation of large reusable launch vehicles, aimed at catering to the demands of extensive constellations and other high-orbit and deep-space exploration missions. Recently, the heart of the Pallas II rocket, the CQ-90 hundred-ton-class liquid oxygen kerosene engine gas generator, triumphantly concluded its test run. It passed a myriad of tests, encompassing high and low operating conditions, varying mixture ratios, extended test runs, multiple ignitions, and continuous variable operating condition tests, boasting a combustion efficiency exceeding 93%.
