A-shares maintained their upward momentum today, with the Shanghai Composite Index achieving a fresh period high. As of 10:34 am, the aggregate market capitalization of A-share companies surpassed the RMB 100 trillion milestone, establishing a new record. At the forefront, Agricultural Bank of China led the pack, boasting a market capitalization of RMB 2.19 trillion, closely trailed by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Furthermore, four other companies—Kweichow Moutai, China National Petroleum Corporation, Bank of China, and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited—each surpassed the RMB 1 trillion mark in market capitalization.
