According to a research report by CSIC, generalized humanoid robots (though not fully anthropomorphic) must possess multimodal perception and end-to-end large model capabilities to excel in logistics sorting tasks. Currently, these robots have surpassed the commercialization threshold for logistics scenarios on the hardware front, yet there remains ample scope for enhancement in domestic embodied models. From a cost-benefit perspective, assuming a two-year payback period, the return on investment for generalized humanoid robots is already on par with that of human sorters. It is anticipated that in the latter half of this year, these robots will progressively move from the demonstration phase in logistics settings to customer trials, and following customer validation, they are poised for exponential growth next year.
