On August 15, Shanghai-Jiangsu Nantong New Airport Construction Investment Co., Ltd. was inaugurated with a registered capital of RMB 1 billion. This joint venture is a partnership between Shanghai Airport (Group) Co., Ltd. and Nantong Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd., holding stakes of 51% and 49%, respectively. Its operational spectrum encompasses diverse areas like civil airport operations, public air transportation, construction engineering, civil aircraft maintenance, and general aviation services. This milestone signifies a significant advancement in the collaborative efforts between Shanghai and Nantong towards the construction of a new airport.
