On the 14th, St. Petersburg Mayor Beglov announced the launch of the Project 22350 frigate Admiral Amelko at the Severnaya Verf Shipyard. The event was attended by prominent officials, including Moiseyev, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy. This frigate is versatile, capable of executing various combat missions in both offshore and open sea environments. As the fifth vessel in the Project 22350 series, it will be commissioned into the Pacific Fleet. Designed by the Severnaya Design Bureau and constructed by the Severnaya Verf Shipyard, the Admiral Amelko boasts a length of 135 meters, a width of 16 meters, a displacement of approximately 5,000 tons, and the ability to carry high-precision weaponry.
