Roch Pharma's groundbreaking BLyS/APRIL dual-targeting fusion protein, Taci-Ig (RC18, trade name: Tai'ai®), has triumphantly met the primary endpoint in a pivotal Phase III clinical trial for the treatment of primary Sjögren's Syndrome (pSS). By blocking the interaction of BLyS and APRIL with B-cell surface receptors, this innovative drug effectively halts the abnormal differentiation and maturation of B cells, thereby mitigating pathological immune responses.
