The Ministry of Strategy and Finance of South Korea announced on Thursday that it will extend the fuel tax exemption policy for an additional two months, until the end of October. This decision aims to alleviate the economic burden on consumers resulting from global oil price fluctuations. Currently, the exemption policy provides a 10% reduction for gasoline and a 15% reduction for diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). These measures will remain in effect until October 31.
