UBS has released a research report clarifying that the market has misinterpreted the collaboration between KuaiShou and Meituan aimed at expanding delivery services. Specifically, the partnership involves KuaiShou opening up its ecosystem and traffic to Meituan, without KuaiShou directly entering the delivery business. This strategic move is anticipated to generate additional advertising demand for KuaiShou. Consequently, UBS has maintained its "Buy" rating for KuaiShou. Additionally, in response to investors' concerns about the apparent decline in user engagement on the Clone AI app, UBS emphasized that since the launch of Clone AI 2.0 in April, the app's revenue ranking in the Image Design category on iOS in the United States has seen a notable rise, with sustained growth observed in August. The improved paid indicators now more accurately reflect the app's robust business performance.
