China Tungsten Online published an update on tungsten market conditions on August 13th, revealing that tungsten prices continue to soar. Throughout the year, the cumulative increase in prices for major tungsten products has reached 40%. Notably, tungsten ore prices have surpassed the 200,000 yuan per ton threshold, APT prices have exceeded 290,000 yuan per ton, and tungsten powder prices have hit 440,000 yuan per ton. Specifically, 65% black tungsten concentrate is priced at 200,000 yuan per standard ton, marking a 39.9% increase from the start of the year. Similarly, ammonium paratungstate (APT) is quoted at 293,000 yuan per ton, reflecting a 38.9% rise from the beginning of the year.
