On July 25, the Ministry of Commerce disclosed at a press briefing that trade between China and Arab nations surged to $407.4 billion in 2024, marking a 2.3% year-on-year increase. This achievement solidifies China's position as the largest trading partner of Arab countries. Assistant Minister of Commerce Yuan Xiaoming emphasized that both China and Arab nations are actively exploring cooperation potential in various domains, including e-commerce, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, green and low-carbon technologies, and financial technology. Chinese enterprises have successfully established 5G commercial networks in Arab nations, significantly elevating their local informatization levels. Furthermore, Chinese e-commerce platforms are gradually gaining traction in the markets of Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other countries, bringing remarkable convenience to the daily lives of local residents.
