On July 19, China Southern Fund announced the official establishment of two data center-focused REITs on July 18: the China Southern Runze Technology Data Center REIT and the China Southern Wanguo Data Center REIT. These funds successfully raised 4.5 billion yuan and 2.4 billion yuan, respectively, attracting over 40,000 valid subscriptions. The overwhelming demand for both funds was evident, with the confirmation ratio for subscription applications from offline and public investors falling below 1%. Notably, China Southern Fund also contributed a portion of its own funds to the subscription process. This event marks a significant milestone in the market, representing the successful launch of the first batch of publicly offered REITs specifically designed for data centers.
