The National Data Administration has revealed that China's computing power resource allocation continues to improve, with the development of the national integrated computing power network gathering pace. The latest figures indicate that by the first quarter of this year, the combined computing power of China's eight major hub nodes for the 'East Data, West Computing' initiative stood at 215.5 exaflops, of which smart computing comprised an impressive 80.8%. Furthermore, a latency circle of 20 milliseconds has been achieved between these hub nodes, markedly enhancing user experience. Additionally, nine 'public transmission channels' have been successfully piloted and opened, offering flexible network services to small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as scientific research institutions, thereby bolstering their production, operations, research, and innovation endeavors. As the linchpin supporting the advancement of artificial intelligence, the overall development of computing power remains steady and forward-moving.
