Nevertheless, in March of this year, Microsoft abruptly shelved its construction plans for a data center in Ohio, igniting concerns in the market over whether the fervor for data center development has peaked. A recent Wells Fargo report highlights that Amazon Web Services (AWS) is also reassessing some of its data center projects, further intensifying market unease.
