Singapore-headquartered real estate investment management firm SC Capital Partners is reportedly in the race to acquire UK-based data center group Global Switch, which is currently owned by China's Jiangsu Shagang Group. Backed by CapitaLand, a leading global physical asset management company, SC Capital Partners is aiming to secure a deal that could potentially value Global Switch at between $4 billion and $5 billion. However, negotiations are still ongoing, and the final agreement remains uncertain.
