On April 10, 2025, the China Mobile Cloud Intelligence Computing Conference commenced in Suzhou. During the event, China Mobile Chairman Yang Jie revealed that the company's deployable computing power resources constitute one-sixth of the nation's total. He further announced plans to significantly bolster cloud intelligence computing in the forthcoming years. China Mobile will concentrate on three key areas: diversified computing power, an integrated computing network, and AI across all domains, aiming to establish a comprehensive AI service stack encompassing computing power, tools, models, applications, and more. Yang Jie also emphasized that the scale of AI is continually expanding, with usage costs declining annually, making AI tasks the primary driver of computing network infrastructure. Additionally, the impact of computing power is accelerating, and it is anticipated that China's smart computing power will more than double in the next three years.
