Amazon Web Services (AWS), the pioneering cloud computing division of Amazon, has officially announced the establishment of the AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region, significantly expanding its digital infrastructure presence in Thailand and throughout the Asia Pacific region. This move enables users to operate applications directly from AWS data centers located in Thailand, thus delivering swifter services to end-users. This ambitious project, backed by an investment exceeding $5 billion, is projected to contribute approximately $10 billion to Thailand's GDP and spawn over 11,000 job opportunities across diverse sectors, including construction, facility maintenance, engineering, and telecommunications.
