Anders Danielsson, CEO of Swedish construction firm Skanska, said the company has become more selective in choosing AI data center projects, prioritizing customers with mature technology while taking a cautious approach toward emerging developers that pose financing and execution risks. He noted that existing customers have not postponed projects; instead, they have commissioned larger-scale facilities, and the company has seen no signs of a slowdown. In the third quarter, construction orders surged 70% to SEK 68 billion, including a US data center contract worth SEK 11.2 billion, bringing the total order backlog to a record SEK 328.3 billion (approximately 224.2 billion yuan).
