Huawei's Ascend 950 SuperNode has received the 2026 World Internet Conference Leading Science and Technology Award. The honor is a top-tier international science and technology award in the global internet field, recognizing internet science and technology achievements with the most cutting-edge and breakthrough impact. A total of 20 achievements were honored this year, including the "Jiuzhang No. 4" photonic quantum computing prototype. The Ascend 950 SuperNode is the industry's largest commercial supernode. It adopts the self-developed Lingqu interconnect protocol and supports 128 and 1024 NPU configurations, providing a computing foundation for large models with trillions to hundreds of trillions of parameters through an innovative system architecture.
